GISON's air random orbital sander GPS-303
GISON is a leading pneumatic tools manufacturer located in Taiwan with more than 40 years of experience, and their air tools have always been ubiquitous in industrial and manufacturing settings. Among all the air pneumatic tools, GISON's GPS series orbital sander, also named DA sander, is highly recommended. It is patented, meets CE vibration standards, has an ergonomic grip, is light weight and high speed, has random-orbit, is safety enforced, can handle over 20kg of pressing power, has low sound level, includes vacuum bag and housing shroud for dust handling, includes bearing oil leakage prevention design, comes with a selection of sander pads, and has excellent balance that allows moderate to heavy-duty use. The three to six-inch air random orbital sander rotating at 10,000 RPMs will have a sanding speed of about 2.5 miles per minute, which allows you to get your job done fast.
Most of the sanders operate in the same motion; they are used to handle flat surfaces. A good finishing air sander can assist you to get rid of blemishes, prepare metal surfaces for painting and mirror finishing, furniture shaping or wood leveling quickly and efficiently. On the other hand, an unsuitable sander may leave marks on the surfaces, spin without random orbit, causing uneven sanding, have slipping sander pads, flying dust, leaking oil or the material is unable to be removed properly.
GISON's GPS series air random orbital sander is designed to solve all the concerns! Regardless of its spinning speed, safety, dust collection, noise, vibration, power and lifespan, they are all considered. It is designed based on GISON's over 40 years of air power tool experience. The ultimate goal is to come up with a total solution that would get your fine finishing done easily.
(A). Safety lever may be adapted by lever-switch. Patent: US6, 752, 705B1.
(B). Housing shroud totally protects housing from dust adhesion. Patent: US6, 997, 792B2.
(C).Replace pad by simply switch the pad lock. Patent: US7, 014, 548B1.
When the compressed air blows into the cylinder chamber, it dissipates the lubricant that is sitting on the rings of the bearings. The blown away lubricant splashes and contaminates the whole sander with the oil adhesive dust and dirt. Because of that, the generated heat eventually wears out the bearings. More likely you will need to buy a new one after a few months because of the malfunctioning.
Durability of Bearing (Test under 1.5KGF pressure for 75 hours)
GISON's orbital sander stops the compressed air from blowing into the bearings, patent #: US7, 029, 253B2. The design of an impenetrable barrier between cavities and bearings avoids the dissipation. When the lubricant is isolated, orbital sander's lifespan is prolonged. A 100-hour oil leakage test was conducted to prove its excellent performance. Not only is the oil spray is prevented, in addition, the bearing also successfully avoided the damage from the air tube between the cylinder and the main body.
(A). GISON's new GPS series: Mechanism tested over 1,500 hours, No Grease leaks.
(B). Sanders from other brands: Mechanism tested for 1 hour, leaking grease occurred.

GISON's housing (patent: US6, 997,792B2) is sealed tightly by a shroud, which is capable of extending pneumatic sanders' long life. The anti-clog shroud provides extra protection for the housing; it is embedded between the sander pad and the housing. From house construction, furniture building, automobile painting to boat building, orbital sanding is an essential job. You need an orbital sander that’s worth every penny and long-lasting, which means each component of an air sander should be protected from discharged dust. As mentioned earlier, the sanding process generates dirt, dust, and chips, and it could clog every part of air sander, especially when it is used in a high-production industrial environment where dust extraction is critical. With the shroud to cover the housing, your orbital sander will sand freely with no worries of jamming and clogging.
Orbital sander's lifespan is extended when the spinning part is firmly protected.
For an everyday orbital air sander user, you need a dual action sander that is not going to make your hand feel numb hours later, thus, handheld air sander’s spinning consistency and low vibration is required. With GISON's air sander, GPS series, as you can see on the video, the air sander was capable of rotating continuously with great stability, either with one figure or 20kg’s pressing power. The random-orbit revolves in even and steady action, and in the end leaves smooth surfaces. It comes with selections of sanding patterns – ultra fine sanding, general sanding, and aggressive sanding.
There are abrasive sanding discs for hard and raw wood, furniture, pine board, automobile, stone, painted surfaces, aluminum, and metal. For example, water mill discs for stone and marble, lamb’s wool discs which can maneuver various surfaces and the diamond embedded sander discs for solid ones. They are velcro (hook face) or P.S.A (vinyl face) and contain various holes with choices of colors. GISON provides multiple sanding discs with hole patterns, including 5-hole, 6-hole, 7-hole for dust collection system, that being said, less dust, better work.
Normally you need a spanner to remove an orbital sander pad; however, GISON’s dual action sander makes your life easier. It doesn’t require a screwdriver to replace a sander pad. The bottom end of the rotary shaft being mounted with a sanding pad that is tightly screwed to the main body, normally you need a spanner to remove the pad. To quicken the work, GISON’s air sander has a padlock switch (patented: US7,014,548B1) that permits a user to flip the switch and easily spin the pad off. No more tools are needed to do the replacement.
With the "No Spanner Design" you can replace pad by simply turn the pad lock switch

Air flow controller
In order to prevent the sander user from accidentally starting the tool and getting hurt, or trying to replace sander pads while the power is still on, GISON's sander has a switch that allows you to control the air flow from coming on and off.
When the air compressor's air is switched off, the sander stops rotating and pad lock is able to turn. Vice versa, the pad lock switch is not able to turn when the air flow switch is still on.

10,000 RPM and light weight (0.7 kg orbital sander including sanding pad), GISON's random orbital sander is tested to handle 1.5 kg of pressure for 75 hours. The low vibration and fast spinning speed make your sanding job enjoyable even for long hours of an extended period. It provides professional performance and a swirl-free finish.
Safety lever design
During the sanding process or while replacing orbital sander's parts, the user might accidentally touch the trigger and get hurt. Thus, GISON designed a random orbital sander that meets CE safety requirements with two safety designs. (Patent # US6,752, 705B1) The rubber made soft protective sheath is designed to block the air coming from the air compressor. As soon as the protective sheath is pressed, the air sander stops spinning. The other safety lock is placed beneath the trigger, the red adjustment switch with a slot that is connected with the valve body. The turning of the adjustment switch can turn the airway on and off in order to control the flow.
